Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Information Technology Managers, this individual must have a solid understanding of computer science concepts, hardware and software trouble shooting
Installs and maintains ongoing support of computers in Monroe County and contracted local units of government
Participates in identifying and correcting daily operational issues relating to local computers and their connectivity to the network
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of computer science concepts
Hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Working toward a degree from an accredited institution in business, computer science, information technology, or closely related field
Experience or coursework with Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, or 2016
Experience or coursework with Active Directory
Experience or coursework with DNS
Experience or coursework with TCPIP
Experience or coursework with Windows 7 and 10
Preferred
Computer experience working on hardware and software issues
