They are hiring a Mechanical Engineer responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing operation, managing projects from concept to completion while ensuring productivity and quality.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage projects from concept to completion, including: maintaining control of project expenditures to avoid cost overruns; supervision of contractors and vendors; and maintain control of project schedule
Conducts field investigations and prepares reports for problems, issues and resolutions
Establishes and enforces performance levels and expectations in project plans and confirms conformance to project plans and specifications
Assists in the troubleshooting process to assure identification and resolution of mechanical and hydraulic issues to maintain productivity, product quality and minimizing equipment downtime
Supports and encourages employee involvement in continuous improvement activities including Safety Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Maintenance Excellence activities
Experience developing detailed and thorough scope of work for projects
Keep abreast of engineering and manufacturing technological developments for the purpose of assisting management in formulating strategies for meeting business objectives
Provide technical advice to the organization in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for assigned areas of responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and fluid systems troubleshooting skills
Familiar with maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment
Strong communication and leadership skills
