Responsibilities

Develops, estimates, and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program

Participates in evaluation of requests for proposal, substantiates routine estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals

Performs analyses and provide recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

Coordinates and collaborates with proposal teams and cost element functional owners to develop appropriate basis of estimate and substantiation of cost estimates, proposals and other related business decision data

Supports the development/application/maintenance of rates and factors for estimating, pricing, and proposals

Identifies, assesses and implements changes to processes, tools and techniques to simplify estimating and pricing methodologies and improve cost estimating accuracy

Provides fact-finding, negotiation and audit support of cost proposal artifacts and coordinate responses through proposal teams

Supports, prepares and briefs senior leader-level presentations
