They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II who will be responsible for the design and development of hybrid vehicle electrical and battery charging systems, as well as mechanical and electrical components related to OEM integration.

Responsibilities

Concept and develop mechanical/electrical components and systems that may include design of weldments, stampings or laser cut parts, and bonding of components

Communication with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration

Work with manufacturing, product verification and validation, and suppliers to develop efficient and cost effective designs

Document the design solution required for production and product validation testing

Work with 3D modeling software such as Creo and SolidWorks, including the modeling of components, sheet metal, and hydraulic or electrical routings, wire harnesses, and schematics

Other duties and design projects as assigned

Required

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering

At least 3 to 5 years related experience

Must be able to lift 40 lbs
