Responsibilities

Review, approve, or remove posts and comments according to moderation guidelines
Apply moderation actions using established macros and documentation
Moderate content primarily on forums, with limited Reddit coverage
Handle modmail by directing users to official support channels when needed
Escalate issues appropriately following internal procedures
Maintain a calm, empathetic, and technically accurate tone at all times

Qualification

Linux experienceContent moderationConsumer technology knowledgeModeration tools experienceEmpathy

Required

Genuine interest in computer hardware and consumer technology
Practical, hands-on Linux experience with at least two different Linux distributions
Comfort moderating content in forums and Reddit communities
Ability to follow documentation closely and work independently
Reliable availability during after-hours and weekend shifts

Preferred

Experience moderating technical or enthusiast communities
Familiarity with logistics, OS-related, or hardware troubleshooting discussions
Prior experience using moderation tools, macros, or rule-based workflows
