Responsibilities
Underwrite new multifamily acquisition opportunities by building comprehensive financial models and evaluating investment risks and returns
Manage due diligence processes, including property tours, document review, and coordination with third parties, to validate assumptions and finalize business plans
Prepare detailed investment materials and presentations for the Investment Committee, executive management, and external investors
Conduct market analyses and engage with investment brokers to assess market trends, comparable transactions, and potential investment opportunities
Underwrite pools of Freddie Mac loans within K-series securitizations, assessing risk profiles and evaluating collateral quality
Facilitate lender underwriting processes, obtain financing quotes, and evaluate financing structures and alternatives to support acquisitions and recapitalizations
Develop robust financial models to support forecasting, ad hoc analysis, and scenario planning
Participate in strategic planning and budget processes, contributing analytical insights to support decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, brokers, lenders, and third-party consultants to drive transaction success and ensure alignment with company objectives
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal and external stakeholders

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
2-3 years of relevant experience in multi-family investment analysis, acquisitions, lending, investment banking or principal side underwriting
Advanced Excel proficiency, with a strong background in financial modeling and valuation analysis
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Successful completion of Morgan Properties' proprietary Excel test is required
Preferred
Passing CFA Level 1 exam is encouraged; Morgan Properties reimburses the cost of obtaining CFA designation
