Responsibilities
Own all U.S. tax matters, including strategy, planning, and compliance oversight
Identify tax‑efficient opportunities across incentives, credits, elections, and structural levers
Manage external U.S. tax advisors and ensure efficient, high‑quality work product
Oversee the consolidated U.S. tax return and all federal, state, and local obligations
Provide forward‑looking analysis of the company’s U.S. tax position, risks, and expected changes
Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the company’s global tax structure
Lead cross‑border tax planning, including international structuring, transfer pricing, and profit repatriation
Monitor global and U.S. tax policy changes and advise on their business impact
Recommend structural and operational improvements to reduce tax leakage and manage risk
Provide early‑stage tax guidance during international market launches
Partner with finance and operations teams to ensure compliant and scalable tax processes
Assess tax implications of new products and create practical implementation guidance
Qualification
Required
Experience in a U.S.-headquartered global company or advising similar multinational groups
Strong grounding in US tax compliance and cross-border planning, including transfer pricing
Experience supporting new market or product launches in ambiguous or fast-moving environments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues to non-tax audiences
