Responsibilities
Program jobs using MasterCam 2024 or G/M code to meet customer specifications
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines from engineering drawings
Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical plans to determine tooling, process, and materials
Maintain, calibrate, and perform routine checks on machines to ensure accuracy and performance
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to meet project requirements and solve machining challenges
Monitor the machining process and make real-time adjustments to uphold precision and quality
Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade school training a plus)
Proven hands-on experience in CNC machining (mills and/or lathes)
Solid understanding of precision measuring instruments and quality standards
Strong attention to detail, quality mindset, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Proficiency with MasterCam or G/M code programming strongly preferred
