Sales Director
First Legal is a comprehensive File Thru Trial™ solutions firm with over 30 years of experience serving law firms and corporations. They are seeking a Director of Sales who will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage a high-performing sales team, and oversee key client relationships to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to exceed sales targets and KPI's
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Oversee the sales pipeline and forecasting process to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and optimize the customer journey
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business decisions
Manage sales budgets, incentive plans, and resource allocation
Participate in contract negotiations and high-stakes deals as needed
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
8+ years of progressive sales experience, including 3+ years in a senior sales leadership role
Experience in the legal industry is required
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and leading successful sales teams
Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales performance metrics
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strategic thinker with a data-driven and customer-centric approach
Preferred
Experience selling attorney/litigation services is a plus
