Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements
Architect, design, and present technical solutions to address business challenges
Develop new applications and enhance existing internal systems
Build high-quality, low-defect user-facing applications using modern front-end frameworks
Create reusable front-end components and shared libraries for cross-application use
Optimize application performance across browsers and web-enabled devices
Develop server-hosted services and add-ins using C# and the .NET Framework
Design and develop REST APIs using Python and Flask, including testing and documentation
Integrate applications and services including Microsoft Teams, REST APIs, mapping services, desktop apps, and document repositories
Connect to and work with multiple database platforms using ODBC interfaces
Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
Troubleshoot, debug, and support production applications
Produce technical documentation and implementation materials
Provide regular status updates and collaborate closely with leadership
Mentor and share knowledge with team members to support ongoing development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
5–10 years of professional software development experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and the .NET Framework
Experience across the full software development lifecycle
Strong background in user interface and front-end application design
Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating external services
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Oil & Gas industry experience
Experience with ElasticSearch
Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD best practices
Experience working with multiple database technologies (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MemSQL)
Exposure to enterprise integrations and real-time data systems
