Responsibilities
Complies with, monitors, and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department
Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures
Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery, ensuring accurate documentation is kept
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
Inspect parts for defects and wears and reassemble equipment after inspections, testing, or repairs
Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery and equipment
Record and manage parts and materials, ordering new ones as needed
Communicate daily with the Maintenance Supervisor for assignments
Qualification
Required
A High School Diploma or equivalent
Legal eligibility to work in the US
Ability to operate a film extruder and related equipment
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
Proficiency in reading and writing English
Basic math skills including the capability to read a ruler and measure in US standards
Strong multitasking skills
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
Preferred
Two years of equivalent job experience in the extrusion discipline preferred
