Business Development Representative
Verisma is seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our commercial growth efforts. The BDR will play a critical role in qualifying inbound leads, executing strategic outbound outreach, and driving engagement ahead of key industry events.

Responsibilities
Rapidly assess and qualify inbound leads from marketing channels
Set meetings with high-potential prospects and ensure accurate Salesforce tracking
Collaborate with Sales to ensure smooth handoff and follow-through
Execute targeted outbound efforts to engage prospective clients
Maintain an active prospecting list and report progress regularly to Sales counterparts
Use multiple channels (email, phone, social) to generate interest and schedule meetings
Drive pre-event meeting scheduling to maximize Verisma’s investment in conferences and trade shows
Invite and confirm attendance of clients and prospects to Verisma-hosted dinners and networking events
Support post-event follow-up to convert interest into pipeline
Work hand-in-hand with Sales counterparts to identify high-value targets and refine outreach strategies
Share insights from prospect interactions to inform messaging and positioning
Stay agile and responsive to shifting priorities and market dynamics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, preferred
2 years of healthcare IT experience driving sales conversations
Proven experience in sales prospecting and desire to enter into a Sales Executive position in the future
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and cleanliness
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing team needs
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as needed
Preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
