Responsibilities

Perform senior-level electrical engineering design and development tasks for one of ATR’s seven branches

Investigate complex technical issues and develop recommended solutions

Lead or advise technical preliminary and critical design reviews

Lead or advise investment projects focused on developing new, cutting-edge technical capabilities

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned technical systems or subject area (often requires extensive experience with either radio frequency (RF) or electronics theory and practical application)

Define technical requirements for assigned systems and advise on system capabilities relative to unique or evolving customer test requirements

Required

MS Degree in an electrical engineering discipline from a school of engineering accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)

A minimum of 10 years of work experience in performing the stated or similar function

In lieu of a MS Degree, a BS Degree and a total of 14 years of work experience in performing the stated functions

A minimum of four (4) years of work experience with electrical engineering functions as related to development, test, or evaluation of instrumentation systems

Possess an academic and work experience background in such areas as preparation of technical and operational test plans, execution of sophisticated tests, certification of systems, logistic support planning, technical data review, and analytical interpretation of test results

T&E experience required

Demonstrated experience with and understanding of either RF theory and technologies or electronics and electrical concepts required

Knowledge of computer systems, software, computer networks, and computer interfacing required

Must be proficient in MS Office applications

Applicant must possess a valid driver's license and pass drug screening

Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance

Applicant should be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs. assisted by other employees
