Responsibilities

Helping manage straight-forward to moderately complex construction projects through entire project lifecycle (inception, approval, planning, execution, and closeout) and coordinate technical aspects of projects (design, development, integration and test, trial and deployment)
Help initiate, facilitate, and monitor specific intradepartmental and cross-functional construction project progress and performance to assure quality and on time delivery Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Work in the field to ensure the execution of all construction activities including but not limited to: place hard-line cables, frame and strand poles, transfer facilities between poles, place cable in joint trench, and ensure safe operation of construction vehicles and cable trailers
Oversee the activity of business partners and/or subcontractors.​
Report on project's progress and updating database (P2) as required by project, internal/external partners, and the senior leadership team. ​
Identify and manage critical path and risk areas and create risk response and mitigation plans while QCing end to end project. ​
Report weekly (or as necessary) on any risks/issues. ​
Solve issues as required to unblock open issues working with both internal and external partners and leadership. ​
Work with other project managers to track and manage inter-project/domain dependencies. ​
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. ​
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. ​

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2027- Spring 2028)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
