Piper Companies is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to support a well-established insurance and financial services organization. This role will focus on building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models that help teams turn data into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and SSRS reports aligned with business needs
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
Support ETL/ELT workflows to ensure accurate, scalable data for reporting
Optimize dashboard and query performance
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver effective BI solutions
Contribute to BI documentation, standards, and best practices

Qualification

TableauSQLETL/ELT toolsCloud data platformsData Analytics

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
7+ years of experience in BI development or data analytics
Advanced proficiency in Tableau (Desktop and Server)
Strong SQL skills
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Talend, Matillion, or similar)
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
