Sr Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

Define, track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Lifecycle Cost
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability improvements and incorporate reliability in all phases of the equipment lifecycle
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address underlying causes of equipment failures
Ensure all reliability activities comply with environmental, safety and regulatory requirements
Promote a culture of reliability and safety excellence
Lead a team of reliability engineers to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of products
Develop and implement reliability engineering strategies, plans, and processes
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve reliability issues throughout the product lifecycle
Analyze product failure data and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability
Conduct advanced reliability testing to validate and optimize product performance
Manage the reliability engineering budget and resources effectively

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years' experience in Reliability and/or Mechanical Integrity
5+ years of experience in reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Fixed Equipment. Knowledge of NDE techniques and ASME/API codes
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) Facilities
Due to compliance with U. S export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in U.S

Preferred

Familiarity or certification in national standards such as API 510, 570, 580, 653
Professional Reliability Certification – CRE, CMRP
Excellent project management skills to oversee complex reliability engineering initiatives
Passion for continuous learning and professional development, staying at the forefront of industry advancements
Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation
