Mid LevelDice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Prophecy Consulting, is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer with strong Disaster Recovery expertise to support and maintain enterprise data center operations.

Responsibilities
Manage and support data center infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and backup systems
Implement, maintain, and test Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity plans
Perform DR drills, failover, and recovery testing; document results and improvements
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for maintenance and upgrades
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards
Maintain detailed documentation and runbooks
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in Data Center Operations
Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery planning and execution
Knowledge of backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, etc.)
Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
Understanding of SAN/NAS storage and networking concepts
Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments
Ability to support on-site operations in Newark, NJ
