Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance the software developed for ground systems and the real‑time capabilities that space missions rely on
Take ownership of complex engineering challenges
Modernizing legacy components
Architecting new mission‑focused capabilities that improve performance, resilience, and operational speed
Shape how data is processed, how systems communicate, and how mission teams execute with precision
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in software development with programming languages, including Java, Python, Rust, or GO
Experience operating within an Agile environment
Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Preferred
Experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools, including Docker or Kubernetes
Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
Experience working within a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), including AWS, Azure, or Google
Experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, or Node.JS
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
