Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously, both in person and by telephone
Schedule, pre-register, reschedule, and confirm radiology appointments
Clearly explain check-in procedures, imaging preparation instructions, and next steps to patients
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
Coordinate closely with technologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Manage urgent or add-on appointments as needed
Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and calm waiting area
Scan, file, and distribute paperwork, referrals, and reports accurately
Assist with patient transport when necessary
Perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff
Willingness to participate in department-related training opportunities as available
Ability to perform other duties as assigned in support of patient care and organizational needs
Preferred
Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred, but not required
