Cybersecurity Engineer

ASRC Federal is a leading government contractor furthering missions in space, public health and defense. They are searching for a Cybersecurity Engineer to support their Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Program Executive Office (PEO) contract, responsible for developing and implementing security solutions for cloud operations.

Responsibilities

Development, testing, and implementation of security solutions for DCSA cloud security operations
Designing and implementing secure systems, networks, and monitoring; managing IT security, incident response, digital forensics, and loss prevention
Recommend and implement system enhancements for performance and reliability, maintain security audit and logging information

Required

Five (5) years knowledge of AWS or modern cloud computing environments
Experience planning, developing, delivering, and deploying configuration-managed updates to systems capabilities maximize operational availability and cyber security
Must be self-motivated and capable of interacting with organizations internal and external that consist of groups of operators, developers, engineers, testers and product vendors
Must be able to articulate technical concepts verbally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer
Understanding of offensive and defensive cyber operations
Functional knowledge of scripting using Python
Understanding of version control using Git
Infrastructure automation using Terraform and/or Ansible
DevOps and automation workflows to enhance cybersecurity posture of enterprise environment
Ability to train team members in emerging cyber procedures and tactics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's Degree, in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management or equivalent experience
Must meet DoD cloud certification equivalency and DD8140/DoD8570.01-M at the time of hire
Active Top-Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI

Preferred

Multiple cloud certifications, Zscaler Certified Deployment Specialist, ZPA Certified Support Specialist and ZIA Certified Support Specialist Certifications
