The role involves utilizing technology to improve production lines, developing new processes, and analyzing automation opportunities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Utilize technology to improve, streamline and automate various production lines

Develop new chemical or mechanical processes

Review and analyze production lines for automation opportunities

Design simplified calibration techniques for production line machines

Develop new analysis techniques

Qualification

Required

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate program majoring in Chemical Engineering or closely related field

Must be a junior going into their senior year of college (returning to senior year/semester of studies in Fall 2026 with an expected graduation Spring 2027)

Student must also be in good academic standing

Due to ITAR regulations, applicants must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Demonstrate understanding of chemistry or material science

Demonstrate ability to handle unknown variables with independent research

Self-motivated, good communicator and capable of working independently while handling fluctuating workloads with strong organizational and problem solving skills

Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

Prepared to work in an environment with steep learning curve

Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, heat/cold, and hazardous chemical exposure)
