Process/Equipment Engineer
Eastman Kodak Company is seeking a Process/Equipment Engineer to provide engineering project and day-to-day support within the Film Coating manufacturing operations. The role involves troubleshooting quality and equipment issues, making data-driven process improvements, and managing capital projects to enhance capabilities and reduce waste.

Responsibilities
Providing technical support for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Finish and Advanced Melting (FAM) manufacturing processes
Troubleshooting of quality and equipment related issues
Making data-driven process and equipment changes to improve reliability and reduce NSDT
Capital projects related to capability enhancements
Projects designed to address equipment obsolescence, process improvements and reductions of waste
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with particular coursework or field experience associated with fluid and heat transfer, as well as fluid mixing, and some background level of chemistry
Demonstrated ability (through work experience or academic education) to utilize skills across multiple concurrently active projects
A strong work ethic, integrity, high motivation, and ability to be mentored
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, schedule, and direct projects and tasks
Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot issues and assist in root-cause analysis techniques
Strong interest in hands-on experience working with Operations and Skilled Trades personnel around multi-generational equipment
Aptitude for learning and applying principles associated with health, safety, and environmental controls and monitoring equipment
Self-starter and independently motivated
Adaptable to changing conditions and priorities
Ability to work well with other process engineers and skilled trades experts
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to adhere to manufacturing process procedures and personnel safety principles
Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Equivalent
Preferred
Design knowledge and/or education related to process instrumentation controls, programmable logic control systems, chemical reaction principles, flow control, mixing, and heat transfer equipment would be advantageous but not required
Knowledge of hazardous location installation requirements
