Senior PV Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

Leverage industry connections to generate new business and expand market presence
Develop strategic partnerships with utilities, developers, EPCs, and key stakeholders
Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and project acquisitions
Recruit, mentor, and build a best-in-class PV engineering team
Establish technical and operational best practices for project execution
Drive revenue growth through new opportunities and service offerings
Oversee the electrical design of large-scale PV and energy storage projects
Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, UL, and interconnection requirements
Optimize system performance through advanced modeling and engineering analysis
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Stay ahead of emerging technologies, regulations, and market trends

Required

10+ years of experience in PV electrical engineering, project development, or related fields
Established industry network with a strong reputation for winning and delivering work
Expertise in PV system design, interconnection, and grid integration
Strong leadership skills with the ability to rapidly scale a technical team
Deep understanding of NEC, IEEE, UL, and permitting requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Preferred

PE (Professional Engineer) registration preferred
