Environmental Project Manager - Soil and Groundwater Remediation - 2 years minimum experience

Responsibilities
Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation and construction projects
Preparing cost estimates and proposals, and maintaining financial KPIs
Completing a variety of remedial designs
Building strong client relationships
Client and regulatory correspondence
Technical report writing and review
Analyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
Coordinating work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractors
Responsible for quality control of tasks
Prepare NCDEQ UST Trust Fund reimbursement paperwork and submit in a timely manner to the Incident Manager
Mentor project Jr. staff
Will require some regional travel for field visits
Supervise up to 5 staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Geology, or closely related field
2 years of Project Management experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
US citizenship is required. Sponsorship will not be offered for this role at this time or in the future
Qualified applicants who are offered the role will be subject to a background check, motor vehicle records check
Preferred
8 years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on site investigation / remediation
4 years of project management experience
Experience working with the NCDEQ UST Trust Fund on leaking UST projects and completing reimbursement claims
40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
OSHA 30-Hour Construction (supervisor)
