10+ years expInterlix Staffing is seeking a Senior Civil/Environmental Engineer (PE) to serve as Project Manager and Engineer of Record. This role involves owning client relationships and delivering projects end-to-end, with a focus on leadership and project execution.

Responsibilities
Serve as Engineer of Record on small-to-medium projects, signing and sealing deliverables
Lead project delivery from proposal, scope, and fee development through design, permitting, and construction support
Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources across multiple concurrent projects and clients (typically 3–6+ accounts)
Oversee and/or produce engineering calculations, studies, reports, and permitting/construction document packages
Provide QA/QC, technical direction, and mentorship to project engineers, CAD staff, and interns
Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to secure permits and maintain project momentum
Conduct site visits and support construction-phase needs as required
Identify opportunities to expand services, support business development, and help grow existing accounts
Qualification
Required
+10 years of civil/environmental engineering experience
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with immediate ability to sign and seal
U.S. work authorization (U.S. Citizen or Green Card; no sponsorship)
Demonstrated end-to-end infrastructure delivery experience including design, permitting, and project execution (not solely studies/modeling/master planning or remediation)
Broad “T-shaped” background across planning/feasibility + design calculations + permitting + construction support
Experience relevant to Florida or similar regulatory/climate environments
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to start within 1–2 months
Fluent in English (C1/C2 level), written and spoken
Technical direction capability with the following (hands-on use not required, but must be able to direct/QC): AutoCAD/Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling concepts/tools
Strong client management and project management capability (ability to own clients, write proposals/scopes/fees, and represent the firm independently)
Preferred
Florida PE (or ability to obtain Florida licensure within 3–4 months)
Experience across stormwater, water/wastewater utilities, pump stations, drainage systems, and storage ponds
Experience supporting innovation initiatives (pilot programs, new technologies, AI/decision-support tools, smart utilities/asset management, CMOM)
