Responsibilities

Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a sit down forklifts with attachments (forks, clamps, push pull), or other power equipment 80% of the specified shift

Safely load and unload trailer, inbound and outbound stock

Complete daily inspection of equipment

Verify load accuracy; checking the load count, stability, and product damage. Report variances as necessary

Assist in physical inventories

Follow procedures for damaged equipment

Verify requisitions, shipping locations and seals

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Experience on electric forklifts (standup and order picker)

Experience in a fast paced, distribution / logistics environment

Strong team player

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines

High school or GED equivalent

Must be able to read / write English

Must be able to be on a forklift and be on your feet for at least 8 hours a day
