Responsibilities
Provide support in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Work with a mentor on project assignments which are commensurate with academic background
Work with a mentor on project assignments outside of classroom curriculum to gain experience
Apply classroom knowledge to real life applications while using technical expertise
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in college mechatronics (or equivalent) programs required
Completion of Freshman year preferred
18 years of age or older
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Possess or currently pursuing a degree in an Mechatronics or equivalent field required
Available to work a minimum of eight continuous weeks in the summer
Must be willing to work in any of our Columbus manufacturing locations
Ability to read and write and converse in English
Willing and able to uphold BD Values
Preferred
Completion of Freshman year preferred
PLC, Servo, and Vision Programming (Allen Bradley Brand experience preferred)
Fabrication, automation, & industrial experience preferred
