Piper Companies is looking for a Software Manager, Technical Solutions to join a very profitable insurance organization. This role involves leading the development and implementation of digital platforms and guiding a scrum team to deliver solutions while mentoring a team of Software Engineers and QA Analysts.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of digital platforms using microservices, cloud technologies, AI/ML, and DevOps principles
Lead and guide the scrum team to ensure the delivery of solutions
Build, mentor, and retain a team of high-performing Software Engineers and QA Analysts
Promote innovation and transformation by seeking out opportunities to improve processes and platforms

Qualification

Java.NETAgilePeople managementMicroservicesCloud technologiesAI/MLDevOpsInsurance experienceFinTech experience

Required

5+ years of professional experience developing web applications
2+ years of experience in people management/leadership positions (teams of 3+)
Experience in Agile environments
Experience with Java or .NET on the backend

Preferred

Experience in insurance or FinTech preferred, but not required
