Responsibilities

Assist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production
Assemble parts or products according to specifications, using tools or machines to complete tasks such as fitting, welding, or fastening
Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify defects or issues and report them to supervisors for corrective action
Load and unload materials, parts, and finished goods for production processes. Ensure that the necessary materials are readily available for the production team
Operate manufacturing equipment, monitor performance, and troubleshoot minor issues to maintain production speed and quality
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report unsafe conditions or practices to supervisors immediately
Maintain accurate production records, including time logs, inventory counts, quality checks, and report progress to team leaders or supervisors
Suggest ways to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows to meet production targets
Work closely with other production team members, including engineers, quality control, and maintenance teams, to meet production goals and deadlines

Required

Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools
Ability to spot quality issues and ensure products meet specified standards
Basic skills in operating machinery or equipment used in production
Capability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to troubleshoot minor machine or production issues to maintain workflow
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a production team
Knowledge of safety practices and willingness to adhere to them
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is typically preferred but not always required
