IT MANAGER

The IT Manager will oversee the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient IT systems that support production and logistics while aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain company-wide IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, telecommunications, and hardware. Ensure reliable connectivity and system uptime for all locations
Develop technology roadmaps that support company growth and evaluate emerging technologies for potential competitive advantage
Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff; manage daily workflows and conduct performance appraisals
Collaborate with department leaders to identify technology needs and implement effective solutions
Ensure systems support for all seasonal production demands and peak operational periods
Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, data protection standards, and disaster recovery plans
Monitor system security, perform regular audits, and manage backups
Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices
Manage IT budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
Evaluate and negotiate with service providers, software vendors, and equipment suppliers
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality
Provide training and documentation to improve technology adoption and user efficiency
Oversee helpdesk support across all locations. Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related initiatives and escalations
Act as a role model, working alongside team members, and demonstrate a positive work ethic
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or management responsibilities
Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and Microsoft-based environments
Experience with ERP systems, databases, and business platforms
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Hands-on, service-oriented mindset with the flexibility to support operational teams
