Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for all phases of the project (conceptual to final)
Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to track budgets, forecast costs, and manage change orders
Analyze vendor/subcontractor proposals and integrate into total project cost models
Support cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure accuracy and consistency in cost data, while maintaining cost databases and historical benchmarks
Provide support during procurement and bid evaluation phases
Monitor project progress and advise on financial risks or deviations from budget

Qualification

Required

5+ years of cost engineering or estimating experience in industrial or pharmaceutical construction
Proficient in cost management tools such as EcoSys, Sage, RSMeans, or Excel-based models
Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, procurement, and scheduling integration
Previous experience supporting large-scale, capital-intensive construction projects

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience on FDA-regulated or GMP-compliant projects
Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project structures
Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences facility construction
Experience with industrial piping/take-offs
