They are seeking a Communications Social Media Specialist responsible for managing social media engagement and other communications to build brand awareness and assist with recruiting efforts.

Responsibilities

Manage engagement across all social media platforms inc. timely responses to comments and messages
Monitor social media platforms for customer service inquiries and recruiting opportunities
Create presentations and other communication utilized by leadership
Collaborate with recruiting and support recruiting process; qualify, screen and schedule interviews
Build a video library of marketing, branding, recruiting and safety; take photos / videos and edit content
Manage company website and newsletter
Create announcements, communications, articles, flyers, etc
Organize company submissions for recognition regionally and nationally
Increase company awareness by participating in events and community programs
Monitor the effectiveness of social media tools and implement changes when appropriate

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations and/or related
Min. 1-2+ years of Communications and/or Public Relations experience
Experience writing / producing a company newsletter required
Experience in digital communications including all social media platforms required
Social Media management experience
Public speaking experience
Experience with Canon DSLR camera
Excellent customer relationship skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task and manage more than one project at any given time
Proficient in Adobe programs i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, internet based software
Possible overtime, nights and/or weekends; Ability to travel to other facilities
