Responsibilities
Manage five direct reports and the broader team of 30 staff
Oversee teams supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, statutory reporting, tax and treasury functions
Manage month end close, work-in-process reporting and general ledger; handle CMS audits
Develop and maintain internal accounting controls; guide financial decisions through policy and procedure enforcement
Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting financial data
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Coordinate quarterly accounting reviews, annual audits and tax returns
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements; advise management on necessary actions
Monitor bank account balances to maintain appropriate working capital and cash ratios
Qualification
Required
Willing and available to travel onsite regularly (at least 1 week per month in Oklahoma)
Previous leadership experience managing management-level staff at a health plan
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
10+ years of accounting experience
CPA designation
Preferred
Master's degree
Financial analysis experience
Experience with Big 5 public accounting
