Responsibilities
Define archiving scope, capture requirements, design solutions for data retention, purging, anonymization (GDPR)
Configure archiving objects, manage ILM rules, integrate with Content Servers (OpenText), write ABAP for custom needs, manage NLS/NSE
Schedule and run archiving jobs, perform health checks, troubleshoot large data volumes, monitor database growth
Work with BASIS, Security, Business Process teams, and external vendors
Assist with S/4HANA migrations, system upgrades, and provide training/documentation
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of SAP Data Archiving, ArchiveLink, ILM, technical objects (IDOC, SBAL)
ABAP
database analysis (DB02, DB15)
SAP Content Server/OpenText integration
NLS/NSE
Experience with FI/CO, SD, MM, PM, etc
