Vice President of Sales, AI & Data – Healthcare

They are seeking a Vice President of Sales, AI & Data – Healthcare to accelerate their footprint in Pharma and the broader HCLS market, focusing on go-to-market strategies and securing foundational client wins.

Management Consulting

Responsibilities

Lead go-to-market efforts, client acquisition, and large-scale deal origination/closure
Leverage personal network to originate and close high-value engagements within 90–120 days. (typical deal size is $150k+)
Develop and execute account strategies targeting Biotech, Pharma, and Healthcare Provider markets
Forge strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, data platform providers, and life sciences alliances
Establish Infocion’s differentiated market position within specialized HCLS segments
Act as the primary relationship owner with C-suite leaders in key client domains (e.g., R&D, Clinical, IT, Commercial, Data Science, etc.)
Align Infocion’s offerings to client business priorities and compliance requirements
Lead first conversations, establish trust, and position Infocion’s credibility in the HCLS market
Identify cross-industry opportunities that expand Infocion’s reach beyond initial client wins
Stay ahead of trends in AI/ML advancements, cloud data platforms, and LLM-driven innovation
Cultivate, expand, and leverage relationships with executives, translating challenges into actionable solutions
Work closely with Infocion’s delivery leaders to package and present tailored proposals, identifying cross-industry opportunities for expansion beyond initial client wins
Shape tailored data & AI solutions in collaboration with Infocion’s subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring alignment with client goals
Drive credibility through speaking engagements, webinars, whitepapers, or content on AI in value-based care, drug discovery, or regulatory modernization

Qualification

Required

10+ years of senior commercial or strategic leadership within top-tier Pharmaceutical, Biopharma (e.g., Pfizer, J&J, Novartis, Merck), or leading technology and advisory consulting organizations (e.g., Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, EY)
An active, relevant network of decision-makers across biotech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare provider ecosystems
Proven expertise in influencing large-scale investment decisions related to Clinical Development, Commercial Strategy, or enterprise-wide Digital Transformation
A proven track record of consistently generating, closing, and scaling multi-million dollar consulting deals in Data & AI, cloud, or digital transformation
A deep understanding of industry pain points that can be addressed through Data Engineering & AI
Experience in fractional or consulting roles within a commission-first environment
Strategic thinking with a strong bias for action and a proven ability to execute
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills
