Responsibilities
Design and implement robust, scalable APIs and backend services to support mobile and web platforms
Ensure consistent service delivery across multiple clients and maintain alignment with overall system architecture
Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to translate requirements into elegant backend solutions
Optimize integrations for enterprise partners and manage assessment data efficiently
Participate in technical design sessions, lead kickoffs, and advocate for best practices in backend development
Contribute to long-term strategic decisions, including evaluating and prototyping next-gen server infrastructure in modern languages such as Go or Rust
Mentor team members, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and foster a culture of engineering excellence
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional backend engineering experience, with strong expertise in API design and development
Proficiency in modern backend technologies and frameworks (Node.js, TypeScript preferred)
Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and scalable architecture patterns
Strong focus on code quality, testing, and documentation
