Responsibilities
Support the execution of Hanon Systems’ SOX compliance program in accordance with SOX 404 requirements
Document and maintain process narratives, flowcharts, risk and control matrices (RCMs)
Perform design effectiveness and operating effectiveness testing of internal controls
Identify control gaps, deficiencies, and remediation opportunities; partner with process owners to drive corrective actions
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Finance, IT, Operations, and Shared Services
Assist with IT General Controls (ITGC) testing in collaboration with IT and external auditors
Track and report SOX testing status, deficiencies, and remediation progress
Support external audit requests and act as a liaison during audit cycles
Contribute to continuous improvement of SOX processes, tools, and documentation
Stay current on changes in SOX regulations, accounting standards, and internal control best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
7+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, public accounting, or related role
Strong knowledge of SOX 404, COSO framework, and internal control concepts
Preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing and/or automotive environment
