This role is responsible for the overall administration and service excellence of Emergency Services, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care while advancing departmental performance and staff engagement.

Responsibilities
Identify real and potential problems impacting Emergency Services and implement effective solutions with follow-through and clear communication
Participate in service-line, departmental, and hospital-wide committees as assigned
Advance the patient experience agenda within Emergency Services
Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to direct reports; support individual development plans and document performance
Ensure adherence to all Human Resources policies
Communicate departmental, organizational, and industry updates to staff
Facilitate evidence-based employee engagement practices
Build strong internal and external relationships to achieve departmental and organizational goals
Participate in employee and patient rounding and mentor emerging leaders
Enforce Emergency Department standards of care and develop processes to measure and ensure compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required
Active or eligible Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas required
Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Services experience required
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience required
ACLS required
PALS required
Preferred
CEN preferred
TNCC preferred
Benefits
Incentive Bonus: 17.5% – 26.25%
Relocation Package: – $15,000 lump sum – Additional $10,000 for household goods (owners) – Renters receive $5,000 less on each amount
