Responsibilities

Oversee End-to-End Accounting Operations: Manage all accounting functions within the shared services environment, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Optimize and Enhance Processes: Lead initiatives to implement, refine, and enhance best practices for operational efficiency and consistency across all accounting processes
Leadership and Team Development: Mentor, guide, and motivate a team of accounting professionals, cultivating a high-performance culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze accounting data to generate comprehensive financial reports, statements, and performance metrics that align with corporate objectives
Ensure Regulatory and Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal company policies, implementing checks and balances to safeguard financial accuracy
Achieve Operational Goals: Consistently meet or exceed shared services objectives, including quality standards and deadlines, while driving continuous improvement efforts

Required

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required
Proven track record of working as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role within a shared services environment
Demonstrated expertise in leading and optimizing accounting operations
Strong leadership skills, including experience in managing accounting teams
Experience fostering a results-driven culture
Successfully implementing process improvements
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and accounting principles
Ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail
Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools
Ability to leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency
Reliable transportation is required
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Ability to read and interpret documents, instructions, and manuals
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to apply logical thinking to execute instructions and resolve problems
Applicants must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations
Regular standing, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to perform duties in varying work conditions, such as confined spaces
