Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of PSD health programs which includes the planning and evaluation of health service functions and collecting and analyzing health data for children up to age five enrolled in PSD preschool programs
Qualification
Required
Must possess two (2) years of full-time equivalent work experience in a public health department, health services provider, with pediatric experience which involved collaborating with health professionals in providing services
Must possess a valid Licensed Vocational Nurse license issued by the State of California
Must be able to lift and carry a small child (up to 50 lbs.) as needed/in the event of an emergency
Pass a pre-employment physical including a tuberculosis test and required immunizations (SB792)
A valid California Class C Driver License is required to carry out the essential job-related functions of this position
A copy of valid Licensed Vocational Nurse license (electronic copy accepted) must be attached to your application
Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education
Preferred
A Master's degree in one of the fields noted above
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
