Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, assigning work orders and ensuring quality standards are met consistently
Perform and oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems while responding to emergency maintenance requests and coordinating with external contractors and vendors
Maintain detailed maintenance records and work order documentation, conducting regular building inspections to identify potential issues, and ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
Participate in budget planning for maintenance supplies and equipment while implementing energy efficiency initiatives and cost-saving measures

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of building maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Commercial HVAC knowledge and basic electrical and plumbing skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environmental conditions
Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Basic computer skills
Able to participate in-call rotation & work occasional evenings and weekends for emergency responses

Preferred

EPA universal certification
Relevant trade certifications or technical school training
Commercial building maintenance experience
Familiarity with building automation systems
Experience with energy management and sustainability practices
