Human Resources Generalist
Lutz is seeking an HR Generalist to join their client, a large manufacturing operation. The role involves partnering with leaders and employees to resolve issues, guide decisions, and strengthen workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees across a large, complex workforce
Lead and support employee relations matters, including investigations and recommending appropriate courses of action
Advise leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee issues with confidence and discretion
Support workforce initiatives such as performance reviews, workforce trends, and organizational planning
Collaborate with HR partners on areas including FMLA, ADA, and compliance-related matters
Use HR data and insights to identify trends and help leaders make informed decisions
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all situations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
3+ years of HR experience with hands-on employee relations exposure
Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment—ideally supporting a large employee population
Comfortable navigating strong personalities and addressing sensitive issues with tact and confidence
Strong judgment, independence, and the courage to make fact-based decisions
Ability to build trust and credibility with leaders and employees at all levels
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in all situations
Preferred
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
