Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data engineering and analytics engagements within the BFSI, Retail and/or CPG verticals
Own P&L for strategic accounts, driving margin, ensuring high delivery quality
Build strong client relationships and lead high-performing cross-functional teams
Work at the intersection of business, technology and analytics to ensure that data platforms, pipelines and solutions deliver measurable value and are aligned with the client’s strategic priorities
Qualification
Required
Total experience: 16+ years in IT/Analytics/Data Engineering delivery
Minimum ~8+ years in senior delivery leadership roles (account / program / P&L responsibility) preferably in consulting or analytics services
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, strategic data engineering/analytics programs (preferably global, multi-year) in target verticals
Deep technical understanding of modern data engineering platforms: cloud data warehouses/lakes (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift), data streaming (Kafka), ELT/ETL tools, data modelling, data governance, real-time analytics
Experience with one or more major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern data architectures and migration
Strong client-facing skills: stakeholder management at senior levels, ability to influence strategy, build trust, articulate value
Experience managing P&L, budgets, margins, global delivery operations, resource/pyramid management, client contractual engagements
Excellent leadership, people-management and team-building skills; able to mentor and grow a delivery practice
Strong communication (written & verbal), presentation skills, ability to engage with business and technical audiences
Willingness to travel and work in a client-facing environment
Preferred
Engineering/Technology degree is preferred; an MBA is advantageous
Certifications in cloud/data-engineering (e.g., AWS Big Data Specialty, Azure Data Engineer, Snowflake) and project-management (PMP, Prince2) are plus
