Production Technician- Audit

The IT Production Technician – Audit is responsible for evaluating and processing IT assets, ensuring they meet resale standards through testing, grading, and data eradication, while working collaboratively within the Audit team.

Responsibilities
Work collaboratively within a team-based environment, supporting shared goals and managed workflows
Conduct testing, diagnostics, and sorting of Notebooks, Systems, and Monitors, ensuring proper asset tracking for resale eligibility, through proprietary systems and processes
Perform final assessment on re-marketable assets based on established quality and functionality criteria
Perform data eradication activities, including hard drive wiping and documentation, in accordance with EPC security and compliance standards
Accurately document conditional issues, logs, product inventory, and erasure records in EPC’s Inventory Management Software
Clean and prepare IT equipment for resale or transfer, utilizing tools such as vacuums and hand tools, while applying a specific cleaning regimen
Consistently meet or exceed daily production goals and quotas, with a focal point of maintaining high standards
Follow written procedures and quality standards precisely to ensure consistency and compliance
Handle IT equipment by packing, unpacking, wrapping, sorting, palletizing, and moving items throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and carts
Other duties as assigned by department leadership
Qualification
Required
Basic computer proficiency with strong attention to detail
Strong multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated reliability and commitment to meeting production goals
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Exhibits sound decision-making skills in a dynamic work environment
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused operation
Ability to accurately follow written directions and documented processes
Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in auditing, quality control, data entry, or electronics testing environments
Familiarity with data eradication or secure handling of electronic devices
Able to collaborate within a team environment, share information, and execute managed direction
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
High level of accuracy in documentation and system entries
