Interior Designer
Studio B Architecture + Interiors is a nationally recognized firm specializing in modern residential architecture and custom interiors. They are looking for an experienced Interior Designer who can manage multiple projects, create cohesive designs, and collaborate with clients and contractors to elevate the firm's architectural vision.

Responsibilities
Project management and coordination
Ability to manage 2-3 projects simultaneously
Assisting in the mentoring of junior staff
Assist Principal’s in client interviews
Oversee support staff and/or design team
Displays leadership qualities that elevate the firm
Ability to work independently and advance projects
Meet with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
Determine and verify client goals and project requirements
Organize and develop project timelines, prioritize tasks, and managing allotted hours of a phase and schedule
Coordinating project consultants, trades, or entities
Develop estimates of project costs, create budget spreadsheets, proposals, and review of contractor budgets
Developing and formatting client presentations and meetings
Select and specify project materials, specifications, and details
Prepare project plans, drawings, documents, and schedules
Specify and coordinate lighting, material and surface finishes, appliances, accessories, plumbing fixtures, window treatments, and furniture/furnishings
Place orders for project, materials, furniture, and furnishings, and oversee installation of a project. Review purchase orders and custom products for accuracy, proportion, and scale
Oversee quality control on projects
Regular project site visits and review/assembly of the ‘punch-list’
Interior Accounting Program – Studio Designer
Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit
Proficient in Rhino or Sketch-up
Proficient in Lumion, rendering software
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, In-Design, Acrobat
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
Qualification
Required
Proven experience of high-quality work in the field of interior design with 6-10 year's work experience
Highly organized with outstanding verbal, written, communication and graphic skills to work directly with clients, consultants, and contractors
Initiate and create documents for all phases of one or more projects and responsible for assembling presentations with clients
Strong design and artistic sensibility; creative and detail oriented; demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, research skills, time management skills, and interpersonal skills
Experience with creating and managing construction documents/details and having knowledge of building codes and regulations
Ability to work in teams, manage junior staff and highly self-motivated
Ability to create and pursue interior spaces that are not only functional but address specific client/programmatic requirements and maintains Studio B ethos
Knowledge and exploration of emerging materials, fabrics, furniture, and furnishings
Pursue interior design licensing or design affiliation with reputable design associations such as ASID, IIDA
Perceptive, adaptable, and responsive to the evolving needs of the studio to ensure that the firm is running efficiently adhering to schedules, project timelines, and deadlines
Sense of humor is a must
