Responsibilities

Help analyze and improve how people, materials, and machines are used

Assist with designing workstation layouts and process flow improvements

Support validation of processes, equipment, tooling, and fixturing

Create and update setup sheets, tooling, and fixture documentation

Work with vendors to test and trial new or improved tooling and equipment

Help define standard work, process data, and work measurements

Assist with troubleshooting and improving manufacturing processes

Document processes, control plans, and APQP-related work

Spend time on the floor supporting production teams as needed

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new and existing products

Help train operators on process or equipment updates

Support ISO/Quality standards and continuous improvement efforts

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (junior standing preferred)

Available part-time during the school year (10–20 hours/week) and full-time in the summer

Curious, hands-on, and interested in how things are made

Familiar with manufacturing or assembly processes, tools, and fixturing

Exposed to Lean or Kaizen concepts (experience is a plus, not a must)

Comfortable with CAD and basic data or SPC tools

Interested in learning about APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA

Organized, detail-oriented, and a strong problem solver

Comfortable communicating and working with both engineers and operators

Able to commute to our Mequon location
