Senior Systems Specialist

Responsibilities
Perform testing, research, diagnosis and assessment of system features, functions or reports
Provide specialized application assistance, training and support to clients based on in-depth knowledge of system features and client needs
Provide work direction and guidance to Systems Specialists and clerical staff
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or equivalent is required
Three years of automated business systems experience that include one year of systems processing experience entering, updating, or monitoring data and resolving related issues
Terminology, methods, and techniques of research, testing and assessment of automated business systems and databases
Training techniques
Processes and terminology used in the administration of accounting or financial functions
Principles and practices of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Principles and practices of data validation
Production management in support of functional business activities
Applicable federal and state laws and regulations
Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
Basic arithmetic
Critical Thinking – Analytically and logically evaluating information, propositions, and claims
Mathematical Facility – Performing computations and solving mathematical problems
Legal & Regulatory Navigation – Understanding, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
Professional & Technical Expertise – Applying technical subject matter to the job
Using Technology – Working with electronic hardware and software applications
Attention to Detail – Focusing on the details of work content, work steps, and final work products

A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required
Preferred
College coursework in accounting, business, or personnel administration is desirable
