Senior Training Specialist
COMPA Industries is searching for a Senior Training Specialist to support Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS). The role is critical in ensuring safe and effective training programs for personnel at a DOE nuclear facility, aligned with DOE Orders and site standards.

Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain training programs
Conduct training needs, job, and task analyses
Develop lesson plans, training materials, examinations, and evaluation tools
Present training in classroom, field, and blended learning environments
Evaluate trainee performance and provide remediation
Maintain training records, rosters, exams, and documentation
Develop and maintain task-to-training matrices
Evaluate training materials for compliance with DOE O 426.2, Manual 4B, and site requirements
Conduct training program assessments and Management Field Observations (MFOs)
Provide guidance to instructional staff and review training materials prior to approval
Support audits, surveillances, and corrective action responses (STAR)
Act as a lead or subject matter resource for assigned training programs
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship Required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE 'Q' security clearance
High School Diploma plus 12 years relevant experience in education or the field being instructed OR 10 years SRS facility operations experience
Associate's Degree plus 8 years relevant experience in education or the field being instructed
Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) plus 4 years relevant experience in education or the field being instructed
Demonstrated experience in instructional analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation
Strong knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
Ability to evaluate instructional materials for compliance, adequacy, accuracy, and effectiveness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with training records systems and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Ability to work independently and provide guidance to instructional staff
Preferred
Possess the depth and breadth of knowledge and skills of an Instructor/Developer
Substantial experience with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) sufficient to guide and evaluate instructional staff and training materials
Familiarity with lesson content, general concepts, and applications related to rigging and crane equipment operations
Currently qualified or able to qualify as an instructor in accordance with the SRS 4B Manual
Minimum ten (10) years experience as a qualified/certified Rigger or Mobile Crane Operator
Working knowledge of TM90-7 – The Site Hoisting and Rigging Manual
Prior DOE or SRS training experience
Candidates with recent DOE L or Q clearance preferred
