Responsibilities
Creating and approving engineering solutions for production and repair
Performing stress analysis and structural assessments for airframe components
Collaborating with Design, Stress, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure safe and efficient results
Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining compliance with Spirit engineering methods and industry regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Aerospace, Civil, Mechanical, or related disciplines) or other related course of study obtained from an ABET accredited Engineering program or equivalent international accreditation
Associate Engineer (Level 2): 2+ years working as an engineer in a related field
Mid-Level Engineer (Level 3): 5+ years working as an engineer in a related field
Senior Engineer (Level 4): 10+ years working as an engineer in a related field
Experience in material review board, structural design and/or analysis of metallic, composite structures, or manufacturing processes
Strong computer background including engineering applications (e.g., CATIA, FEM tools) and Microsoft Office Suite
