Responsibilities
Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for AI/ML integration, such as predictive maintenance or demand forecasting
Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., engineers, production managers, data scientists) to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for AI/ML solutions
Translate high-level business requirements into clear, comprehensive functional specifications and process flow diagrams for AI/ML model development and integration with existing ERP/MES systems
Work closely with data science and engineering teams to prototype and implement AI/ML models, ensuring they align with business objectives and can be deployed effectively in a production environment
Develop test plans and perform system testing/user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure AI/ML solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
Monitor the performance of deployed AI systems, gather feedback from users, and recommend enhancements to improve model efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Develop training materials and provide support and training to end-users to ensure effective adoption of new AI-powered tools and processes
Stay current with the latest advancements in GenAI and ML technologies, proposing and implementing new AI-driven strategies to solve complex manufacturing problems more efficiently
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment having strong fundamentals of Gen AI and Machine learning
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance methodologies
7+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst in manufacturing domain and experience in data analysis, AI/ML projects, or related roles
Strong Fundamentals of AI/ML concepts, methodologies, and frameworks
Familiarity with data handling, preprocessing large datasets, and data visualization tools
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI model deployment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, agile teams
High degree of adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving field
